After the crew of Denver & Rio Grande Western C-18 No. 315 has loaded bags of sand in the sand dome, a little housekeeping is in order as the running boards are swept clean of errant granules. The 3-foot gauge consolidation sits in front of the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad enginehouse at Antonito, Colorado, on the afternoon of June 4, 2018, and will make a run over Cumbres Pass to Chama, New Mexico, the next day hauling several freight cars to Chama yard.
