Recent tree and brush clearing work has made possible this aerial view of the abandoned roundhouse at the Lehigh Valley's former Manchester Yard. The yard was one of the largest classification yards in the northeast, and was abandoned in the 1970s when the Lehigh Valley mainline was removed through upstate New York.
The roundhouse was recently named by The Landmark Society as one of 2017's Five to Revive and work is underway towards restoration of this impressive structure.
