| Night action on Tehachapi can sometimes be much better to photograph than during the day lighted hours. As a south bound BNSF intermodal is seen here slowly moving it’s way along up grade between tunnels 1 and 2, the transition from single stacked cars to trailers and then to double stacked cars(in the background) can be seen to the right side of the frame blurring into view. It’s close to midnight on a beautiful spring night and the near full moon is beginning to set in the west, creating lighting like its early afternoon sun. |
