Amtrak #5, the California Zephyr, is rolling off its last half mile or so alongside a short section of slide fence, prior to reaching the stop at Glenwood Springs, Colorado. For the last 15 miles it has passed through the spectacular Glenwood Canyon; a deep gash through the White River Uplift. The ex. D&RGW Glenwood Springs depot is just ahead.
