Remarks & Notes
Mallet #1 (built as #476) is being prepared for the 3pm excursion train on the heritage Abreschviller Forest Railway (Chemin de Fer Touristique d'Abreschviller), which has an unusual gauge of 700 mm (27in 1/2). The current line is 6.1 km (3.8 miles) long, the whole network was up to 73 km (45 miles) long in 1939. Mallet 0-4-0+0-4-0T #476 was built by Maschinenfabrik Heilbronn in 1906. The COFERNA Diesel locomotive #3 can be seen on the left.
