BNSF’s Cowley turn passes through an interesting landscape as it approaches Himes, Wyoming, on the morning of June 27, 2018. The five centerbeam flats behind the locomotives will be set out at Himes for loading of wallboard products at the Georgia-Pacific Gypsum plant located there.
Landscape photography is difficult due to the challenge of combining good light and good scenery. Good railroad photography enters another level of complexity since it requires the first two while there is a train in view.
