Remarks & Notes

3957 throttles up as she leads a northbound freight near Lexington, NC. This section of mainline used to be double track as you can see the second bridge to the left of the train. Double track has been re-installed over the last two years due to increased freight traffic and the regional North Carolina passenger trains running between Charlotte and Raleigh.
