Remarks & Notes
Half-Patched

Both locomotives in this GP9/GP30 combination appear have been pulled out of the shop before the Conrail rebranding process could be completed. Both units’ long hoods have had their “Penn Central” lettering painted over, but the wet noodle logos persist. The pair is seen leading a 56-car train near East Penn Junction, Pennsylvania, crossing Auburn Street in Allentown.
