2-6-0 cogwheel steamlocomotive HG 3/4 # 9 of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke (DFB) running onto the turntable at Realp. The locomotive was built in 1914 by the SLM for the Brig-Furka-Disentis Railway (BFD), which became later the Furka-Oberalp-Bahn (FO). After the entire electrification of the FO line from Brig via Furka and Oberalp pass to Disentis, the locomotive was sold to Vietnam for the line Song Pha (former Krong Pha) – Da Lat (together with # 1, 2, 8) in 1947. Brought back to Switzerland in 1990 more or less as scrap. First revision in Meiningen/Germany in 1993 and running in blue/black colors as # 2 on the DFB. Since 1999 lettered as # 9. Second large revision in the workshop Chur of the DFB, finished in 2013 and now in black color and lettered as "BFD # 9". The locomotive pulled the trains 133 and 154 this day between Realp and Gletsch.
