Remarks & Notes
A SEPTA AEM-7 survives long enough into 2018 to see the completion of the newly rebuilt station in Yardley, PA. The Reading Railroad's original station is long gone. At one time, at this location, there was a freight house and even a turntable to turn locomotives around. A modern shelter with low level platforms (seen here), was built by SEPTA and replaced the old wooden Reading built station but it too has since been replaced. By August 25, 2015 as a result of the SEPTA and CSX separation between Woodbourne and West Trenton stations, the outbound platform (out of view (and gone), far right) was removed and all SEPTA traffic was diverted onto the Inbound track. Currently all SEPTA service between Yardley and West Trenton operates on the Inbound track only.
