M62UMM # 001 of the Mongolian Railway with a Ulaanbaatar bound passenger train between Dawaan and Emeelt. This locomotive is one of three remotorised of this series, # 001, # 015 and # 016. The M62 model of Voroshilovgrad Locomotive Factory, today: Lugansk (Ukraine) was very popular and more then 7100 single section units were produced from 1965 for several countries. The mongolian MTZ recieved 13 single units M62UM and 66 twin units 2M62M betweeen 1980 and 1990.
