As mother nature tends to doing what it does best, NS 15T with one of the most Patriotic locomotive on the NS roster on the head (Allentown,PA-Birmingham,AL) pick up the pace as it passes the rolling hills of Philadelphia, TN on the NS West-End Div heading for Birmingham, AL. Going by track warrant rules, the West- End dispatcher had giving a track authority for the southbound NS 15T to proceed south from Philadelphia, TN Milepost 165.5A to Niota, TN milepost 179.8A. Once the train get near Niota, the crew will tone up the dispatcher, and report back that the 14 miles track authority limits has been cleared, and the crew is ready receive further track authority from the West End Dispatcher to continue eastbound without stopping.
