| This empty coal train is working is about 20 miles west of Gillette, WY. The train has just passed the siding at Echeta and is near MP 619 as they work thru this hogback over Wild Horse Creek. The train is working over the scenic BNSF Big Horn Sub that runs from Gillette WY, at MP 599 to Huntley MT at MP 829, 230 miles. This train came out of Superior and is bound for North Antelope Mine on the Powder River. Back in 2009 the SD70Mac's were the main stay power for the coal trains on the BNSF. |
