If you look closely at the wall, the doors, an obscured steam heated pew behind the bar, and of course, the supports, you'll note this room is actually the once outdoor passenger platform of the 1908 built depot serving the Lackawanna Railroad. Today, it offers a nice view of passing trains, both freight, and Steamtown's passenger excursions.
