Remarks & Notes

On September 14, 1990, a Kansas City Terminal work train drops ballast on one of the KCT main lines past Kansas City Union Station while a westbound Union Pacific coal empty led by new GE C40-8W No. 9381 trundles by on an adjoining main. This scene has changed a bit since 1990, with the main lines through here in considerably better shape today.
