On a beautiful spring morning of June 7, 1992, an eastbound Burlington Northern intermodal train led by a pair of EMD GP50s crosses the Wisconsin River at Crawford east of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. Near this location is where the Wisconsin River empties into the Mississippi River, with some of its backwaters visible in the background.
