| The beautiful kept 4-6-4 "Hudson" H1b # 2816 called "Empress" came with a steam special to Revelstoke this day from the east. The 4700 hp locomotive was built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in 1930, has a driver diameter of 75 inch (1,9 meter) and is a oil burner now. It's not really a Rocky Mountains locomotive and was never used here before. |
