| 4-6-2 "Pacific" 01 # 202 is starting the ascent to the Ceneri pass in Giubiasco with 11 cars, the grade is 2.6 %. It's one of the last steam train which can use this line without a leading locomotive with ETCS L2 train protection system. This system will be installed in this region this summer in conjunction with the future Ceneri Basis Tunnel (CBT) line. |
