| Its the end of the line for this old GE 45 ton switch engine, parked in Falls Village CT with a connecting rod hanging out of one engine, and the cylinder heads off of the other. The vandals have taken pretty much everything worth anything even in this secluded location about a mile from any road. This locomotive used to power the Housatonic's first passenger excursion trains in the late 1980s, and before that was owned by the Remington Arms company. |
