New Hampshire Northcoast's only GP18 makes a rare appearance on the head end of the loaded sand train to Boston. While it does make it onto the mainline at times, it will usually trail due its lack of an alerter, restricting it to 25mph. This unit started its life in 1960 as CRI&P GP18 1341 before going to NEGS in 1985 and then to NHN in 2009. At the age of 58, this geep is still going strong.
