| If you like the Denver Rock Island Railroad you might want to visit their Denver operation soon. The area that they serve (one of the last true industrial areas left called 'The Stockyards') is about to undergo a nearly $1B reinvestment for the Denver Stock Show, complete with urban renewal in the form of pocket parks, bike paths and multi-million dollar stock show facilities. It wont be much longer before the DRIR gets squeezed out of their Denver operational territory. |
