| While the actual time zone 'line' between mountain and central is west of North Platte (near Paxton, NE) Union Pacific's time change is at the west end of their Bailey yard in North Platte. Having just finished shoving a train over the east hump the YNP01R approaches the 'time zone' before shoving back into the east hump arrival yard. UPY 822 started life as MP SD40-2 #3249, it is currently classed as a SD38-2 in UP's 'Yard' locomotive fleet. |
