| On a quite perfect day regional train 828 from Andermatt to Disentis is climbing out of the Urseren valley up to the 2044m (6706ft) high Oberalppass. This is done through the help of a cograil. Even if it is early march the landscape is covered with a fresh layer of snow. On the Oberalppass itself the sow height is somewhere in between 1 and 2 meters, so parts of the train are shadowed by the snow walls. The line was closed for some days during the winter due to the amount of snow and following avalanches. |
