Remarks & Notes

An inbound Burlington commuter train from Aurora brakes for the station at La Vergne, Illinois, on a summer afternoon. The modest consist of an E8, a single gallery car, and a coach/generator car providing HEP was typical of off-peak Aurora trains in the pre-METRA CB&Q era.
