A southbound (Amtrak westbound) Acela Express en route from New York Penn Station flies through the upper deck of Secaucus Junction bound for Newark, Penn Station. The station, built in 2003, does not currently serve Amtrak trains, which pass through the station on the upper level outer tracks without stopping.
