| Union Pacific train HKB (Houston - KC - Bailey yard) passes Missouri Pacific's freight house in Denton, TX. The only object left in this scene besides the main track is the 186' Morrison Milling Co. elevator and sign in the background. Just out of the frame to the left would have been the beginning of the MKT Denton Branch. Today on the MKT r-o-w is the northern terminal for the A Train Commuter line that uses DMU's to connect with DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) Light Rail. |
