| The Boone to Eagle Grove manifest train crosses the Des Monies River at Fort Dodge on this cold morning. The sun hasn't even make it all the way into the valley yet as the temperature hovers around -10 below wind chill. The train is crossing the 1903 high bridge that is 2500 feet long and 182 feet above the ground and was built by the Mason City and Fort Dodge Railroad. |
