| UP train ASKC is rolling thru the Grand Avenue plant in St. Louis with carloads of frames on the head end destined to one of the Kansas City vehicle assembly plants. There were still 2 assembly plants open in KC at this time, but the GM's Leeds Assembly would close in 1988. Today this frame traffic for the Fairfax plant is frequently seen as it moves west on I-70. |
