Farewell Pacific Parlour Car. For one final moment, Pacific Parlour Car "Columbia Valley" sits quietly on track 10 at Los Angeles Union Station, having just arrived from Seattle. This would be the last Coast Starlight train to have a Parlour Car in the consist. After serving Santa Fe and later Amtrak well for many decades, "Columbia" and sisters will sadly be retired with an as yet unknown future. If nothing else, the boundless fond memories made in these cars will live on.
