Remarks & Notes
Amtrak #406 leads the Ski Train as it pulls into the Winter Park ski resort to pick up passengers for the evening trip back to Denver. Last year Amtrak positioned 406 at the end of the train for the morning trip from Denver to Winter Park, and then used the engine to lead the way home. This year #406 is not part of the consist and it appears that Amtrak repositions the two engines that lead the train from Denver to the rear when the train returns to Denver's Union Station.

Cab cars are special built coaches that are heavier than normal and have a cab for push/pull operations. This also includes NPCUs, but not road slugs.
