Santa Fe 813 East accelerates out of the yard with a hot BNSF pig train, as another waits to follow it. Of the two railroads in the BNSF merger, ATSF was certainly the one with a knack for intermodal marketing and operations. BNSF now ships a variey of items out of the San Joaquin Valley in containers, including tons of agricultural products.
