| Amtrak California B32-8 No. 2051 and 2052 return to Northern California on the westbound Coast Starlight after performing a great service for the people of the Ventura and Santa Barbara area affected by the Thomas Fire and the resultant mudslides. Amtrak did a great job under difficult conditions in moving thousands of riders between Santa Barbara and the rest of your Southern California during the road closures. And a job well done by Union Pacific MOW Crews for the huge job of getting the rail opened quickly thru the mudslide area. Thank you all. |
