Remarks & Notes
Before the Fire Storm!!! Fires have broken out across British Columbia and this will be the last Southbound train on the BC Rail for about 2 months. This is known as the Grand Canyon of Canada, It is officially called the Fraser River Canyon. The long 2.2% former British Columbia Railway grade north out of Lillooet, BC is one of the longest sustained heavy mountain grades on the the North American Continent. Westbound CN Train #570 drops towards Lillooet at Moran, BC. This location is 1000 feet above the raging Fraser River. It is 900 pm and the northern sun sets late at this latitude. The train is heavy with copper concentrate from the mines north of Williams Lake.
