Even in the dead of winter, New Hampshire Northcoast's Monday-to-Thursday loaded sand train makes the trip from the pit in Ossipee, NH to Boston Sand & Gravel. Shorter trains means the railroad's only GP18 can pinch-hit for the one of the usual GP38s.
