Remarks & Notes

A pair of SDP40Fs in the later styling head up the Coast Starlight as it prepares for departure from Seattle's King St. Station. The units are blocking the southbound main track, thus a BN transfer job waits its turn short of the switch. At this time the switch stand flags show their Great Northern heritage.
