As members from LOSSAN, Amtrak, Metrolink and the San Bernardino Railroad Historical Society work to prepare the areas around Tracks 13, 14 and 15 at Los Angeles Union Station for the evening's second annual Holiday TrainFest & Toy Drive...an impromptu photo session is held at the front of 3751. Parked front and center next to the 1927-built product of Baldwin is a 1931-built, Seagrave fire engine from the Los Angeles Fire Department beautifully restored and now used for special events throughout Southern California. Following this event, 3751 would officially go down for its 1,472-day boiler inspection that will likely take the next one, possibly two years. If you'd like to help the SBRHS speed through this inspection, please visit www.sbrhs.org to learn more.
