| The nose of SP FM Trainmaster No. 3024 as she basks in the sun at San Jose, taking a two-day rest from her commute train duties on the Peninsula. SP placed all of its Trainmasters in commute service because of their tremendous acceleration, e.g., after a station stop. They were noted for the white exhaust that poured from their stacks as they accelerated. |
