| "LIRR Scrap Line at Wheelspur"
An M3 pair (LI 9812 & LI 9863) and two vintage P72 Coaches (LI 2907 & LI 2933) sit on the "River Track" at Wheelspur Facility waiting to be de-trucked, loaded onto flat cars and transported to Frontier Metals in Ohio for scrapping. These four pieces of equipment are the first of many vintage LIRR equipment that will meet the torch in the upcoming months. |
