Remarks & Notes
Durbin & Greenbrier Valley's "New Tygart Flyer" heads east through Faulkner (Bowden area) with an FP7/GP9E duo in command, representing the WM and B&O respectively. Just beyond this location the former Western Maryland line will turn south, treating riders to some serious WV mountain country only accessible by rail. According to RRPA, the F-unit started life as CP 4071 in 9/1952, while the B&O painted geep started out as TNO 283 in 5/1954.
