Remarks & Notes
Six weeks before the end of the railroad, New Haven local freight BX-22 gets underway out of Readville, MA, headed out the Midland line to Franklin and Milford with GP9 1220 in charge. Today this is still a busy place with Amtrak, MBTA, and CSX action, but a basic commuter shelter has replaced the large two-level station in the background.
