Remarks & Notes
Cotton Belt 9654 leads the CHLAX past the old water tower and semaphore just east of the Pantano bridges. A derailment near the westbound Pantano bridge caused the sunset route between the crossovers at Vail and Mescal to become single track. This lead to many westbound trains running down the wrong main line next to the water tower and semaphores. The semaphore in the photo has been replace, the SP is gone, but the water tower still stands.
