| The four-cylinder compound 2-10-0 steam locomotive "Elephant" C 5/6 #2969 from Eurovapor/Lokremise Sulgen, entirely rebuilt over the last 20 years, on her first revenue journey near Rheinsfelden. It is interesting to note that exactly this locomotive, the C 5/6 #2969 operated the last steam train of the Swiss federal railways SBB CFF FFS on November 30th 1968 exactly on this railroad line! 49 years later, she is shining in new splendor! |
