Busy times at Converse Junction
A Chicago & North Western coal train led by GE AC4400CW No. 8803 has just about finished loading at Antelope Mine at Converse Junction, Wyoming, on May 12, 1995. On Main 1 is the rear of a southbound C&NW coal train that has begun its climb of Logan Hill. On Main 2 is a northbound Burlington Northern empty heading for loading, which is closely following another C&NW empty that is about to cross the bridge over Antelope Creek. Busy times…
