Remarks & Notes |
Amtrak's Arrowhead which provided service between the Twin Cities and Twin Ports is crossing the Mississippi River at the entry to the former GN depot in Minneapolis. At this time Amtrak used this bridge, as well as a former NP bridge north of here, and the famous Stone Arch bridge for their Arrowhead, Empire Builder and North Coast Hiawatha service. Soon they would have a new station in the Midway district between Minneapolis and St. Paul and stop using all these bridges. |
