Remarks & Notes |
Slowly stomping it's feet up the main 2 track is the Tennessee Div. Local job NS 300 (Chattanooga,TN-Loudon,TN) that is slowly approaching Hickory Valley Rd crossing. The train will hold back off the signal at Control-Point (CP) Summit (MP-230.5 A) due to NS 223 waiting ahead at Ooltewah. NS 300 is basically a long distance road switching job that does pick up and drop off on the West-End Div. kinda put you in the mind of the Georgia Local 370/371. 300 and counterpart 303 has reduce local traffic from trying to run from it's home terminal to Chattanooga which result in a few set back on jobs, and cost. Never the less that the changes that railroads goes through. |
