Remarks & Notes
Apparently the SLRG has gone from steam and classy F units several years back to ugly duckling ex-NJT bandits powering their La Veta Pass excursions. Hopefully the fleet of GPs will also be repainted in the attractive IC inspired scheme. Here the crew pulls the day's short 3 car excursion train from the yard to get ready for the day's run.

Freight Cowls are standard locomotives that have a hood that extends the full width of the locomotive. Sadly, most Freight Cowls have been retired, but a few still run on short lines.
