With her preparations complete, Santa Fe 3751 backs off the Redondo turntable as it prepares to join a pair of leased, BNSF AC4400's for the short jog from 8th Street to Union Station. From there, 3751 will lead the two units under the cover of darkness on a historic run for mainline steam through the San Fernando Valley and up Soledad Canyon to be in place for the following day's Acton/Vincent Grade platform dedication ceremony.
