Remarks & Notes
New BNSF GE 3959 leads a Q train upgrade at Berne, WA as it curves to head into the east portal of the Cascade Tunnel. The top of the grade on Stevens Pass is just inside the east end of the tunnel and the train will begin its 2.2% descent to Skykomish in less than a minute.
