Back when the Bethlehem, PA mill was still producing, symbol BEPI carried its output west toward Conway. The train filled with truck frame traffic from Dana Industries in Reading, PA, followed by numerous Philadelphia, Bethlehem and New England (PBNE) gondolas and flat cars loaded with steel products. The tonnage outfit generally rated helpers both ahead of the road power and on the rear, as is the case this October morning.
