Remarks & Notes

This CPR track maintenance crew was using every bit of available track time to gather up old ties and pile them up at Spences Bridge. This truck is deceptively powerful and able to move along at a good clip. In this picture the truck is actually backing up with the backhoe operator perched in the second car calling out six car lengths of clear track at a time as they travelled along.
